Working with young people to make a difference - Job Opportunities with Lincolnshire’s National Collaborative Outreach Programme (LiNCHigher):
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team, who are working within Lincolnshire’s secondary schools, colleges and communities to raise aspirations and address issues of social mobility and access to opportunities for our most disadvantaged young people. These roles call for dynamic and creative individuals who possess a passion to work with and engage with young people and their families in order to make a difference.
As well as working directly with young people, there will be significant opportunities to contribute towards the project’s development and take up opportunities to be involved in community outreach and develop engagement events in schools and local communities.
Central to this project is stakeholder engagement, working with organisations, employers and providers to build relationships and develop activities that will inspire young people and their families.
The Lincolnshire Collaborative Outreach Programme is a joint initiative across universities, the Local Authority and colleges providing higher education (HE) throughout Lincolnshire and the North East Lincolnshire area. The aim of the project is to raise the aspirations of young people aged 13 – 19, with a target of increasing the numbers entering into Higher Education including Degree/Higher Apprenticeships.
This is an exciting project with the first phase of funding guaranteed until December 2018, however, it is anticipated that the project will run to December 2020.
As this is a countywide and community focused project post-holders will be required to travel, occasionally outside of ‘normal’ working hours.

Area Engagement Officer (Maternity Cover): Lincolnshire North (Based in Lincoln). Fixed term until 31 December 2018 or until the post holder returns.
Interviews will take place on the 20th and 21st March 2018 at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln.
