As a member of the Senior Management Group, the successful applicant will help to drive this programme of change, working alongside the Chief Operating Officer to whom the role reports.  We are therefore seeking a talented professional with a proven track record in estates and facilities management to lead and develop the estates functions. It would also be beneficial to have some project management experience of leading small to medium scale projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the estates and facilities strategy alongside the procurement and efficient management of all related estates and facilities works and services. This will include planning and management of budgets and capital projects whilst ensuring sustainability and value for money are achieved. The role covers the full spectrum of estates services and associated staff. You should be able to demonstrate the capability to operate at all levels ensuring effective interaction across estates and other university services. You will be educated to degree level and have a relevant chartered professional qualification or equivalent. Possess a broad range of demonstrable technical experience evidenced through a track record of managing large and complex capital and revenue projects.
