The School’s Registry is seeking to recruit a full-time Deputy Head of Registry - Admissions to ensure the delivery of Registry services for the School in relation to admissions for taught Master’s, research degrees, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Short Courses. Additionally, the Deputy Head of Registry – Admissions will lead on the School’s student immigration and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) compliance.
The post holder is responsible for delivering a high quality user-focused service, leading a team with responsibility for the processes and procedures in relation to applications to ensure consistency and transparency of School processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the School’s student immigration and engagement monitoring are fully compliant with UKVI standards.
The successful applicant will hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification, possess excellent organisational, customer service, IT and negotiating skills and an ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team is essential. The post holder must have a detailed knowledge of policy and issues related to Home Office Tier 4 Visa policy, compliance and international students.
The post is full-time and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 6 scale in the range £37,889 - £43,028 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.
