Category: Professional Support | Department: Information Technology Services | Closing Date: 26 Feb 2017 | The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, an internationally renowned centre for research and postgraduate education in public health and tropical medicine, requires an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead on a range of change projects from an analysis and systems integrations perspective within the Project Management Office (PMO).  The post holder will report to the head of Change Management within the PMO. Although this is not a line management role, the SBA will be expected to take a lead in cementing Business Analysis good practices across a small Business Analysis Team. You will be working with Faculty academics and administration and the rest of the IT Services to ensure strategic change projects and tactical change initiatives are delivered to customer quality expectations.  The ideal applicant will have proven substantial and successful Business Analyst experience working with senior stakeholders and technical system, infrastructure and business integration teams, working to agile and Prince2 project management methodologies and ITIL change and release principles.  A thorough knowledge of system, data and business analysis modelling techniques is essential. It is expected that the successful applicant will also have experience of the test cycle, successful delivery of change and the production of IT documentation and instructions. Also, experience of leading BA good practices, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.  The post is full-time and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 6 scale in the range £37,889 to £43,028 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff.
