The School of Health and Social Care is currently recruiting for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Social Work, with part of the role having a particular emphasis on the Social Work Apprenticeship. In this key role you will contribute to the development and delivery of the academic provision to undergraduate and postgraduate students and in particular, contribute to the Social Work Apprenticeship.
You will also support the School, and the wider University, to deliver new initiatives and developments in line with our strategic objectives. You’ll have the ability to deliver an excellent student experience through creative and innovative learning, and a commitment to pastoral care.

Starting salary will depend on your qualifications and experience but for the Senior Lecturer role you must have significant experience of managing, leading and developing courses, supervision of research projects and knowledge of academic quality assurance processes. You must also be a member of the HE Academy or hold an equivalent teaching qualification.
