Category: Academic | Faculty/Division: Faculty of Science and Engineering | Department: Chemistry | Location: Hull | Post Type: Full Time | Closing Date: 26 Sep 2014 | The University of Hull's Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking two Foundation Teaching Fellows to assist in the delivery of our Foundation Year. The successful candidates will teach mathematics and/or science content at Level 3 (A level equivalent). The position involves delivering lectures, laboratory classes and workshops, plus developing course content and setting and marking assessments. Applicants must have a BSc (Hons) in mathematics, chemistry, physics or biology and a recognised teaching qualification. Experience in delivering Level 3 content is desirable, but not essential. Applications are encouraged from experienced FE, HE or newly qualified teachers. This position is fixed term for one calendar year with potential for extension. There will be 2 posts appointed.
