Student Administration provides expert administrative support and professional advice to the University in relation to academic administration, in addition to arranging key student-facing events. This includes the recruitment of students, student admissions, enrolment and the establishment and maintenance of the student record.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clerical Assistant to join the College of Arts team within Student Administration, helping to provide an effective and efficient administration service for the University, ensuring that best practice is followed at all times.
This post is being offered on a part-time basis of 22.5 hours per week. It is expected that the post holder would carry out these hours over a minimum of 4 days per week, but alternative hours of work will be considered.
The role has a focus on providing excellent customer service to students, to staff within the department and to colleagues across the University. You should have excellent customer care skills and be passionate about enhancing the student experience. You will be expected to establish effective working relationships, be able to use your own initiative, be highly organised and have the ability to cope in a dynamic and challenging environment.
This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
