A satellite campus of the University of Lincoln, The National Centre for Food Manufacturing is a major resource for the UK’s food industry with over 250 major companies accessing courses, technical services and research. Clients include the major national and global food manufacturing businesses and we collaborate with many international partners and universities. Along with its research ambitions, NCFM’s mission is to be the U.K.'s number one provider of Apprenticeships (majoring on Higher and Degree Apprenticeships), for food industry employees. 

NCFM’s students all study through a mix of block release and distance learning on a range of apprenticeships from Level 2 to 7. With distance learning core to our delivery we wish to appoint a key individual with strong ICT capabilities and ideally digital learning development experience to support our academic team in developing learning materials and capturing digital learning opportunities so as to be deliver an exemplary learning experience for our students. 

The post holder will work closely with the academic team and Digital Lead at NCFM and colleagues in LALT (the Lincolnshire Academy for Learning and Teaching), ICT and across the wider University. A function of the role is to assist the Digital Lead in rolling out new practices in digital education developed by LALT to NCFM’s academic team.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2. Please note that this post requires an Enhanced DBS check.
