An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Life Sciences at the University of Lincoln for a candidate with clinical animal behaviour skills who wishes to join our professional team. The role is to provide administrative as well as specialised technical support for the behaviour clinic services. The post includes ensuring clients are provided with support both within the initial consultation and during follow up. This post is pivotal to ensuring liaison across the clinic team to help ensure continuity of appropriate clinic provision at all times.
Other responsibilities include providing practical support during demonstrations of animal behaviour and training techniques of mainly dogs and cats, but possibly other species including horses and parrots. The post holder is also expected to assist in the organisation and delivery of additional income generating initiatives relating to the available expertise in clinical animal behaviour under the guidance of senior colleagues (e.g. seminars, short course and workshops).
