We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated fully qualified teacher to join a small team of Specialist Advisory Teachers who support the inclusion of physically disabled children and young people, into Early Years settings and schools.  The Physical Disability Team operates within the broader context of Oxfordshire’s Special Educational Needs Support Services.

You will work closely with families, Early Years settings and schools following ‘Early Support’ principles of partnership with parents and multi-agency working to improve learning outcomes for young children. This is challenging work, demanding an innovative, flexible individual with good interpersonal skills and the ability to think and plan creatively. You must have recent experience of working with children in the Early Years and / or KS1. The ability to work collaboratively as a team player within a multidisciplinary team is essential as is the ability to work to independently. The ability to travel is essential and a mileage allowance is paid.

You will work predominantly with children with physical disability and their families in the Early Years but the area of work may change depending upon the needs of the Physical Disability Team over time.
