Job Title: Offensive Security Data Generation
Nvidia CSIT Cyber-AI hub intern in offensive security data generation (up to a maximum of 15 hours per week for 20 weeks)
The successful candidate will be working as an intern with the Nvidia CSIT Cyber-AI Hub project team on generating datasets for ML training purposes, primarily in the context of early-stage intrusion in enterprise networks.
The candidate will also contribute to developing a networking testbed and assist in implementing different automated intrusion scenarios.
Another main responsibility of the intern is to assist the team to organize internal and external Capture-the-Flag event and manage the generated data for research purposes. It also includes assisting the project team to create a data labelling mechanism while generating attack data for ML/AI training purposes.
QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Cyber security or in a relevant field.
Have, or be about to obtain a cyber security related postgraduate degree.
SkillsEssential criteria:
Advanced knowledge on networking and experience of using different network penetration testing tools.
In depth knowledge on cyber security concepts, e.g. Cyber Kill Chain and Defense-in-depth.
Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and other threat modelling tools.
Proficient Linux and Windows skills and experience in code management.
Desirable criteria:
Knowledge in Artificial Intelligent/Machine Learning
Experience in organizing events like Hackathons.
Experience in data management for AI training.
Experience in network administration.
Working knowledge of network emulation
