Timetabling Officer

 

Job Description

This is a full-time (35h per week) role which will be focussed on timetabling requirements for the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care. The daily tasks will involve:



- Inputting module timetable data from an Excel spreadsheet into a timetable system



- Analysing data to check it is accurate



- Liaising with academic staff to confirm details of the data when necessary



- Liaising with the central Timetabling team 



- Tracking completion of entry of timetable data 



- Working to a tight College deadline



- Meeting daily targets of data entry 



- Working well in a team



 



You will be working in a team of Programme Officers also entering the timetabling data. You will need to work well within a team environment to meet shared targets and a College-wide deadline.

- Data entry skills/experience (required)



- Strong Excel and SharePoint skills (including how to filter a spreadsheet and update trackers used by many staff members) (required)



- People skills when liaising with colleagues (required)



- Strong attention to detail (required)



- Email skills (required)



- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines and daily targets (required)



- Prioritisation skills (required)



- Knowledge of module timetables (preferred)



- Data analysis technique skills (preferred)



- Vlookup skills (preferred)



- Experience working in Higher Education (preferred)
