The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health. LSHTM is seeking to recruit a full-time Executive Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Director’s Office at the heart of a leading global university. You will provide exceptional administrative support to the LSHTM’s Director and members of their senior team. You will manage the professional schedule and correspondence of the LSHTM Director and manage and support a range of projects throughout the year.

The post-holder must be highly experienced in executive support, including the ability to effectively manage complex itinerary in multiple global locations. You will be expected to anticipate issues and problem solve on behalf of the Director while managing competing priorities and providing a seamless service delivery. You will have an interest in the Higher Education sector with a commitment to making a positive impact.

Candidates should be highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The post holder will be self-motivated, innovative, and have a strong work ethic. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to command the trust and confidence of a range of stakeholders including external and senior stakeholders.

The post is full-time, 35 hours per week and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional Services scale, grade 5, £36,438 to £41,829 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.   Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London and we operate under a hybrid-working framework (being in the office on average 8 days per month).
