Administration Assistant (x2 posts)

Description: Finance & Sustainability (F&S) are looking for two individuals to support their Finance Operations Team supporting Purchase to Pay, Income Team (Credit Control & Tuition Fees), Finance and Governance including Income Office.
You will work under the direction of a Team Leader and will be responsible for the provision of effective and flexible administration duties together with excellent customer service.
You must have GCSE's in Maths and English, or equivalent, with clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills together with a working knowledge of office management applications such as Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel. Experience or understanding of finance administration/operations within a Higher Education environment is desirable.
The main duties for this particular vacancy will be working within the F&S Finance Operations Team, providing a professional and effective service to all staff, students and customers. This is a busy role dealing with a wide range of finance administration and enquiries. You may be required to work in any of the areas detailed in the first paragraph depending on the business need.

Post 1 is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.Post 2 is a part-time post working 30 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.
Both posts will be based at Royal William Yard. If you have a preference for which post you wish to be considered for you must clearly state this in your Supporting Statement in the application form.
