Description: UCSP working within Plymouth University are seeking an experienced and efficient Hospitality Manager to grow and develop the business and experiences.
The role involves dealing with events and functions from enquiry to invoice, planning, managing and delivering all aspects of the services. Our team uses fresh local suppliers and the best raw ingredients; we need a skilled and capable manager with proven management and event operations skills who can lead the team with confidence, ownership and a clear focus. A good knowledge of cost controls and Health & Safety responsibilities is also required.
This is a hands-on role reporting to the Catering Manager. You will have a real passion for quality food and delivering innovation. Your aim will be to enhance and create experiences and a team to the highest standard in terms of engagement, interaction, service, planning and financial controls; whether for traditional or our VIP hospitality customers & guests.
The role offers a great work life balance with flexible and changing hours generally observing, but not limited to term time shifts and will include evening and weekend work. This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Salary: £20786 to £28769 pa - Band D
