Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Early Years Clinical Professional Development (4 Programmed Activities)

University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a part-time clinical Director post within the team that delivers the early years & BMedSci for the BMBS medicine course (A10L & A18L) at Lincoln Medical School, a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln.

The Director of ECPD will report to the Associate Dean of Medicine and will work closely with University of Nottingham colleagues, in particular the Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs and the Vice Dean for the Early Years & BMedSci, and the Director of the Primary Care Education Unit to ensure delivery of all clinical components of the early years and BMedSci University of Nottingham curriculum at Lincoln Medical School.  The post-holder will also ensure the standardisation of processes and procedures across sites and quality management of delivery of the course at Lincoln.

This post is based at the University of Lincoln’s Brayford Pool Campus, but travel to the University of Nottingham and other sites where the University of Nottingham Medicine course is delivered may also be required.

Candidates must have a medical degree, be on the GMC general practice register, and be a member of a medical college or equivalent.  This post is suitable for senior doctors who are interested in developing and consolidating a career in Medical Education.
